We operate with the clear intention of keeping our carbon footprint light and our impact lasting. By encouraging bike hire and active transport, we provide a sustainable alternative to car travel for locals and tourists alike.
Our ever-growing fleet of electric and push bikes is powered by energy-efficient systems, and our workshop prioritises repair and reuse over replacement — keeping bikes on trails and out of landfill.
We maintain our bikes with eco-friendly products, recycle parts wherever possible, and avoid single-use plastics. We also promote digital bookings and maps to minimise unnecessary paper use.
Embracing the Circular Economy
We proudly support a circular economy. Our tools, fittings and fixtures have been thoughtfully sourced second-hand or repurposed. We also recondition old bikes for community use and contribute to the SALVO Christmas Bike Giveaway, giving bikes a second life and bringing joy to local families.
Local, Loyal and Low Impact
We’re more than a bike hire shop — we’re part of the community. From employing local youth and working with the Moonta Men’s Shed, to showcasing regional products and supporting local events, we actively reinvest in our people and place.
Our Kopper Kids Maintenance Workshops give young people the tools and confidence to repair bikes and ride safely, fostering independence, capability and pride.

Sustainability means ensuring everyone can enjoy the ride. We offer E-Trike sales, service and training for people living with disabilities and are constantly improving accessibility.
